Here is Amanda and Claye’s beautiful trash the dress session. I love this couple! They are so kind and adventurous. The Mackey House was gracious enough to let us use their property and what an amazing back drop it was. I’m so happy for Amanda and Claye and wish them all the best in the world!

Marquita and Jaime – St Simon’s Engagement Photographer

This aviation themed engagement session was a blast. Meet Marquita and Jaime. They spend a lot of time in the air just trying to see one another. Marquita lives in Michigan and Jaime lives in Louisiana. They wanted an engagement session that emulated this time and dedication to love. Not to mention Jaime proposed after they both jumped out of a plane. Whaaaaat? That’s crazy! Crazy awesome. The folks down at Gruber Aviation in St Simon’s Island were fabulous and offered amazing access to their hanger. It was a really neat experience and I was so inspired by all of the planes. Marquita and Jaime rocked it and I hope you all enjoy!

This is one of my favorite photos from today’s Trash the Dress session with Amanda and Claye at the beautiful Mackey House. This is a great opportunity to dispel some myths about Trash the Dress. You don’t actually have to trash the dress at all. You just have to be willing to take a few risks. Doing a session after the wedding allows you to gather more beautiful images of you and your love, all while having time, calm, and options not available on the day of your wedding. Not having to worry about getting a smudge on your dress also allows much more freedom to get those dramatic, once in a lifetime portraits. I want to thank Amanda and Claye for braving some persistent december mosquitos and for being really amazing people in general. Heather and Adam – Savannah Wedding Photographer

Everyone might remember Heather and Adam from their super fun Mario Bros. engagement session. Well the date finally arrived and they tied the knot! The beautiful ceremony was done at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Starland. . The gorgeous orange and purple popped and subtly reminded you of the fact it was Halloween weekend. The couple then jumped into their vintage ride and we headed to the Inn at Ellis Square to party down. Heather and Adam were so fun to work with. Amazing humor and a laid back attitude goes a long way towards a fantastically fun wedding. We had such a blast shooting your wedding and wish you two all the happiness in the world!

Vanessa and William – Savannah Wedding Photographer

Look at this gorgeous fall wedding. Vanessa and William got married on a rainy autumn Savannah day. The rain held out for a good deal of the day, but shortly after the ceremony at First Presbyterian in Ardsley Park it unleashed a downpour just after finishing family photos. Eliza, my trusty assistant was right there with an umbrella for the rest of the portraits. I’m fairly certain she got soaked, but hey, the equipment was saved! Vanessa and William were real troopers and we got creative using a small covered walkway. We ended up at the Pink House an hour early for the reception. Sadly, the outdoor cocktail hour had to be scrubbed. Everyone was having fun though, so I’m not sure how many people noticed. From there we danced and ate the night away. The food was fabulous as always and I chowed my way through a plate of pumpkin ravioli in no time. Alysse with Morgan Gallo Events was a fabulous cohort. She was really on top of everything ( a miracle considering the weather and schedule changes) and we shared some good laughs after the stress subsided. Vanessa and William were so lovely to work for. I wish you two the absolute best in life together.
