My name is Alexis Sweet and I am a Savannah based Wedding and Lifestyle Photographer. After studying photography at Columbia College Chicago I migrated South to enjoy the warm weather and beaches. I couldn't be happier with my decision. I have found a wonderful niche in photography and have enjoyed every second of exploring it.

My style is honest and candid. It is the moments that make the photograph, not the other way around. I also throw in a dash of editorial polish because who doesn't want to feel like a supermodel. I don't weigh down my images with crazy textures and colors. I believe that it is the subject (you) that should shine, not my editing abilities.

As for the stuff that no one cares about? I love a good Chicago hot dog. My dog, Molly, makes me smile at least a dozen times a day. I love when the wind catches a bride's veil in just the right way. I want to see the entire world, and can't decide between India and Thailand for my next excursion. Mostly I enjoy laughing. That's what I do.

Becky and Tim – Sneak Peek – Tybee Wedding Photographer

I know I’ve been pretty absent lately. I’ve been catching up with all of my Spring weddings and am starting to have a little bit of time to blog. I’m sure you are all saying “just a sneak peak? ANOTHER one? I’ll be back soon with some full wedding posts that you’ll really enjoy! In the mean time yes, I’m so happy to present Becky and Tim’s sneak peek. They were married in the beautiful Tybee Wedding Chapel on beautiful Tybee Island, GA. We did a quick trip to the Tybee Island light house for some more portraits after dinner. It was a lovely day for a wedding. Becky and Tim were so wonderful and kind to work with. They also have fabulous families to support them. The perfect recipe for a great day of work. Enjoy!
